Joe Franc
Joe Franc is an emerging British designer and researcher from Bradford, West Yorkshire. Since graduating from Northumbria University with a degree in Three-Dimensional Design, and a Master of Research in Design, he has remained in Newcastle to develop his design practice. Joe is currently a Designer in Residence and Associate Lecturer within the university, where he continues to create unique and characterful furniture pieces.
Through his practice, Joe experiments with a variety of materials and explores the potential in both domestic and industrial waste. By utilising materials acquired from local manufacturers and found objects, he hopes to challenge the perception of these materials within contemporary design.
